Consent to use, collect and hold Personal Information
Due to changes in the law regarding Personal Data, consent is required from each client, for Beauty by Juliet to use, collect and hold their personal information. This will be done either in salon or online if booked through the online booking system.
It is a legal requirement and insurance obligation that the salon keeps up to date records on file for at least 7 years after all treatments are carried out. A client may request access to their data at any time. After this period,client records will be shredded or client may request that they keep them.
Personal data will never be shared with a third party and should any personal data breach occur, clients will be informed immediately.
A client may opt out of the agreement at any time. However it is an insurance obligation to keep record cards of all treatments carried out, and if client is not in agreement to this vital part of the contract, then Beauty by Juliet would not be able to offer any further treatments to said client..
The data collected is to ensure treatments can be carried out safely and to be able to contact clients regarding appointments. Any data stored is a requirement to comply with Public and product liability insurance. Records are required of all products used should any issues/allergies/problems arise.
All information is stored in a safe secure location.
Contact will only be made to clients to change or cancel an appointment.
